Domega International Co. Ltd Has Issued An Allergy Alert on Undeclared Eggs in WHITE LOTUS SEED PASTE MOON CAKE (2 YOLKS). Consumers who are allergic to eggs may run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product. The recalled WHITE LOTUS SEED PASTE MOON CAKE (2 YOLKS) was distributed nationwide in an uncoded, 22.5 oz. metal tin. It is product of China. The recall was initiated after routine sampling by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets food inspectors and subsequent analysis of the product by the food laboratory personnel revealed the presence of eggs in packages of WHITE LOTUS SEED PASTE MOON CAKE (2 YOLKS) which did not declare eggs as an ingredient on the label.
