Santa's Toy Corp., of Los Angeles, Calif. voluntarily recalled about 9,000 Western Rider Push Toys because surface paint on the glove, shirt, and pants of rider toy contains excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.The recall involved a push toy of a plastic horse with rider and a 20-inch long pole/handle. The horse and pole/handle together measures about 26 inches. The rider is wearing red pants and a green shirt. The horse comes in various colors. The products were sold at retail dollar and discount stores nationwide February 2005 through February 2008 for between $2.50 and $3.
