This is a securities fraud class action. It is before the Court on the Defendants' Motion to Dismiss [Doc. 27], which is GRANTED.
I. Introduction
SunTrust, Inc. is a financial holding company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. It offers retail and commercial banking services through its wholly-owned subsidiary, SunTrust Bank. The Plaintiff purchased SunTrust stock in late 2008, during a financial crisis that hit the financial services industry particularly hard.
