MEMORANDUM AND ORDER
The court previously declined to grant defendants' motion to dismiss based upon assurances from the plaintiffs that they could amend their complaint to add specificity to their allegations of securities fraud. The plaintiffs amended, but have failed to add the required specificity. As a result, for the reasons that follow, the court grants the defendants' motion to dismiss. I. BACKGROUND
The plaintiffs filed this proposed class action on behalf of shareholders who acquired stock in defendant McDonald's Corporation between December 2001 and January 2003.
