John Jaques & Son Recalls Lawn Dart Games Due to Risk of Puncture. Hazard: The darts in the games pose a puncture hazard to young children. Lawn darts were banned in December 1988 to protect children from skull, face and eye puncture wounds. Incidents/Injuries: None reported. Description: The recalled lawn dart game includes four projectiles, each consisting of a 14 3/4” bamboo shaft, four fins, and a wooden tip.
