Grand Supercenter, Inc. of Lyndhurst, NJ recalled the following product because they have the potential to be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum, a bacterium, which can cause life-threatening illness or death: HC Fresh, Frozen Salted C roaker, Net. Wt.: 16.9 oz (480 gram), Item # HC 0500402, Expiration Date: Aug 02. 2009. Botulism, a potentially fatal form of food poisoning, can cause the following symptoms: general weakness, dizziness, double-vision, and trouble with speaking or swallowing. Difficulty in breathing, weakness of other muscles, abdominal distension and constipation may also be common symptoms. People experiencing these problems should seek immediate medical attention. HC Fresh Frozen Salted Croaker was distributed through H Mart stores including H Mart and Super H Mart in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Texas area.
