Onward Manufacturing Co., of Ontario, Canada voluntarily recalled about 4,800 Broil King Gas Grills sold at Independent retailers nationwide. The bottom of the cook box that contains the burners can melt or crack as a result of a grease fire. This poses a fire and burn hazard to consumers. This recall included certain the Signet, Sovereign and Sovereign XL series gas grills. These products were sold by independent retailers nationwide from February 2006 through April 2008 for between $450 and $700.
